I am originally from Northern Virginia and received my Bachelor’s degrees in Plant Biology and Biological Oceanography from NC State University. I received my PhD in Organismic & Evolutionary Biology from the University of Massachusetts Amherst in 2023 and am currently a postdoctoral researcher in the Department of Natural Sciences at Bowie State University.
